WORK EXPERIENCE

NASA’s Katherine Johnson IV&V Facility, Fairmont, WV                                                       Expected Fall 2026

Digital Twin Engineering Intern

·        I will be supporting the development of high-fidelity digital twins of NASA spacecraft and their operational environments

·        I will be helping to evolve and maintain virtualized simulation environments that enable testing of mission and safety-critical software in ways that are difficult or impossible to achieve in hardware-only settings

PROJECT EXPERIENCE

Autonomous Quadcopter — ROS-Based System                                                                               Summer 2026

Undergraduate Researcher

·        Created a ROS2 and Ardupilot-based x-configuration quadcopter which uses a Vicon motion capture system in order to facilitate GPS-denied indoor flight

·        Developed python and C++ based custom ROS2 packages, nodes, and services to enable command-line mission control

·        Designed and integrated the full system architecture consisting of both hardware (power module, motors, electronic speed controllers, and IMU) and software (ROS2, Linux, MAVROS, MAVLINK, Ardupilot)

Target-Seeking Autonomous Rover — ROS-Based System                                                                      Fall 2025

Robotics Engineer

·        Designed and implemented an autonomous mobile robot in ROS capable of navigating an enclosed arena while detecting and localizing ArUco fiducial markers using onboard computer vision.

·        Developed Python and C+ based perception and control nodes for marker detection, pose estimation, and autonomous navigation.

EXTRACURRICULAR EXPERIENCE

West Virginia University, Morgantown, WV                                                            Fall 2025-Present
